As the attached video demonstrates, numerous bicycle infrastructure projects are underway in Seattle and neighboring communities around Lake Washington, including eastside communities, Bellevue, Renton, Redmond, Kirkland and Issaquah. Federal, state, county and local groups have all contributed to the funding.

Washington Legislature discussing E-Moto law
The state legislature if reviewing how e-bikes and higher powered E-motorcycles or E-motos should be regulated. The focus appears to be on classifying E-powered two wheeled vehicles that do not meet the Federal definition of an E-bike as either a motorcycle or a new class of licensed vehicle. Federal law classifies E-bikes as consumer products which are exempt from the requirements governing motor vehicles.
