Seattle tests solutions to dockless bike parking

The increased usage of dockless bikeshares and e-bikes in Seattle has led to experiments with novel approaches to parking these bikes away from crowded sidewalks.

  • Be predictable.
  • Be visible. Use lights; wear bright colors
  • Let cars pass.
  • Ride single file when cars present.
  • Use a horn or bell to warn walkers.
