Yogabliss and Banner Bank are partnering to support The Village Bicycle Project as it aims to empower African communities by strengthening bicycle culture. VBP programs offer previously "loved" bicycles with hands-on maintenance training and bike tools for new owners.

Seattle tests solutions to dockless bike parking

The increased usage of dockless bikeshares and e-bikes in Seattle has led to experiments with novel approaches to parking these bikes away from crowded sidewalks.  

King County Work Crews on I-90 Trail Starting April 4

King County will be working next to the I-90 Trail (Aubrey Davis Park bicycle path) starting April 4 in preparation for the construction of a new sewer line running from near the MI Park and Ride to the East Channel Bridge.

E-Bike Share Pilot on Mercer Island?

On Tuesday night at a City Council study session we heard a city planner from Bellevue discuss Bellevue's upcoming year long pilot program to test dockless E-Bike sharing with LimeBike.  Afterwards a LimeBike representative outlined a proposal for a similar but smaller E-bike pilot on Mercer Island.  The City Council expressed interest in learning more detail as well as thinking through the traffic and safety issues involved.
