Mercer Island's Youth Mountain Bike Team - We have one!

The Mercer Island MTB Team is affiliated with the Washington Student Cycling League. Together its mission is to foster life skills development through cycling and create a foundation for lifelong cycling enjoyment. The focus is skills development, excellence, teamwork, outdoor recreation, and respect for the community and the environment. Mercer Island MTB is open to students in grade 6 - 12 in the Mercer Island School District and nearby communities:

This infrastructure bill was passed by legislature, and the governor’s signature is expected soon.  It is the largest commitment to cycling ever made by the state.

Aubrey Davis Park Trail Safety Improvements Project

The City and consultant KPG are working on a design for improved safety and a more enjoyable experience for all trail and park users. These improvements will include signage, pavement markings, and artistic treatments to manage the flow of cyclists and pedestrians through the park, while adding placemaking elements to enhance the park experience.
